Seborrhoeic keratosis are skin lesions. They are very common and useually show up in mature adults. The are usually harmless but often difficult to tell from more dangerous skin bleamishes. ALthough they can be removed with lasers, liquid nitrogen (cryotherapy) or shave biopsy they are often left in place as they do not cause any harm.

If they catch on clothing and start to bleed then the patient may opt to have trhem removed. Lots of swimming can make the Seborrhoeic keratosis soft enough to fall apart when dried with a towell, though they will usually return in time.

There is no accepted natural (or naturopathic) cure for Seborrhoeic keratosis, in most cases it appears to be a choice between leaving them be or having them removed by the tchniques mentioned above. |
